Neighboring Environment, Geography, and Culture
The University has campuses in Nanzih and Cijing located in the administrative districts of Nanzih and Cijing in Kaohsiung City.

Nanzih Campus:
The Nanzih campus is located in the northernmost administrative district of Kaohsiung City. To the south, it neighbors Zuoying District. Zuoying is an ancient town with rich culture heritage. There are numerous well-known scenic spots such as the Lotus Lake, Kaohsiung's Confucius Temple, Chai Mountain, Bang Ping Hiking Trail, Kaohsiung Metropolitan Park and the business district of the Hanshin Arena.

Cijing Campus:
The Cijing campus is the original campus of the University. It neighbors the Port of Kaohsiung. To communicate with Kaohsiung, it relies on ferries and the country's only Cross Harbor Tunnel. Cijing has the cultural recreational resources of the Seashore Park, ferry pier, Cihou Battery, and urban rickshaws. The ferry takes one to the once bustling area of Hamasen with scenic spots with high touristic value, such as the Sizihwan Bathing Beach, the Syongjhen North Gate (class 3 historical site), and the Red Tower (former British Consulate).
